Environmental policy
The environmental disaster that is now invading every corner of our planet, and the complete absence of adequate policies, cannot absolve companies from the serious responsibilities that have significantly contributed to environmental degradation since the beginning of the industrial era.
Our commitment translates into an increasingly strict and selective corporate policy towards polluting products and technologies.
Water
All water used in technological processes is treated and filtered in our modern purification plant.
We are implementing a complete system for the recovery and reuse of wastewater within the production process.

Air
The vapors from the washing and etching tanks, while not posing an objective problem for the environment, are still treated by a scrubber filter washing system.
The residual waters are then channeled to the purification plant.

Chemicals
The use of nitric acid, cyanides, hydrofluoric acids, surfactants, and solvents has always been prohibited in the company. The cleaning of metals is mainly achieved with citric acid, sodium carbonate, highly diluted hydrochloric acid, ethyl alcohol, sandblasting, and polishing with brushes (without chemical aids).
The exhausted ferric chloride used for the chemical etching of plates is properly treated by a specialized company.

Raw materials
All our metals are free from lead and cadmium.
Since 2018, we have developed alternative copper alloys with hardness over 200 HV to replace beryllium alloys. All metal scraps and waste are melted down and recycled.
Packaging
Since 2018, the sizes of boxes have been resized and plastic adhesive tapes, polystyrene fillers, and polyurethane foams have been gradually eliminated.
Currently, we only use packaging and fillers made from uncolored recycled cardboard. The tapes are made from recycled paper reinforced with fiberglass and with plant-based adhesives.
By 2026, we plan to eliminate the transparent films used to seal sheets, aiming for 100% packaging made from recycled and recyclable material.

Plastic
We do not work with or use plastics; however, we strive to raise awareness among all employees for a conscious and minimal use of bottles, plates, cups, gloves, and any other "single-use" products that are not made from perfectly biodegradable or biocompatible materials.
Energy
Electricity consumption represents a significant environmental impact. Since 2018, we have started to constantly monitor major consumption in order to identify targeted actions for energy savings. The air conditioning system in the workplaces is achieved with the circulation of fresh water under the floor, pumped from the underground and reused in production processes.
In the office
All paper used in the office is 100% recycled. All printers are refillable inkjet (CIS), without cartridges.
Suggestions
We are constantly seeking solutions to minimize environmental impact. The new types of packaging and the drastic reduction of paper documentation may have caused some resistance, but we welcome any useful suggestions to improve our commitment.
